Q. After I place an order how long before I receive my light-box?
A. We always strive to get the work completed to a high standard and shipped to you within a week of your order being placed. Being that the light-boxes are handcrafted sometimes they can be completed quicker and its possible they could be shipped after 3-4 days but please allow up to a week. After your order has been placed construction starts straight away and your box is fully cut, assembled and all woodworking,and electrics fitted. Then it is wrapped, boxed and shipped to you to enjoy.
Q. Can I change the bulb?
A. Yes. Just unscrew the back of the light-box and replace the bulb. Depending on the design it might be a push-in bulb or a screw-in bulb. Make sure to replace the bulb with an LED bulb only! It is very dangerous to use any other type of bulb, such as incandescent, as these produce a lot heat and will destroy your light-box or worse yet set it on fire. So please be careful, replace the bulb with a warm white, LED bulb only.
Q. Is shipping free for International orders as well as domestic?
A. Yes 100%. Shipping on all orders is free. Its our way of giving something back to you the customer to say thanks for your support:)
Q. Are there any hidden costs I need to know about?
A. No. All you will be charged for is what you order and shipping is free.
Q. I want to order a commission, what do you need from me?
A. All that’s needed is for you to get in touch and start a dialogue. We find it best to email, this allows a point of return to keep track of any special requests or information needed, and any reference photos that you may have sent. If you have an idea just tell us about it and our artist will work with you to come up with a design. It’s easy:)
Q. Do you make bigger boxes than the sizes you have in the shop?
A. Yes. Larger sizes and custom designs are available. Just get in touch.
Q. Can I just put in any normal bulb when changing the bulb?

Q. If I order a commission, how long would I have to wait?
A. Usually about one to two weeks for a fully completed design. As it is a customized design it takes a little longer to produce than the limited edition designs, with the initial design phase before the cutting even begins, so this can vary depending on how many orders are on the books, but you will be given an approximate date of completion when you place your order. And we can work to suit you if you need it completed by a specific date(obviously within limits).
Q. How long is the cable that comes with box?
A. 1.5-2 metres. Longer ones can be requested.
Q. Is it easy to find replacement bulbs?
A. Yes. Most electrical wholesalers will supply the replacement bulbs needed or they can be found on online marketplaces relatively easily.
Q. What type of plug is on the cable?
A. It’s a standard, three pin, U.K. plug but an adapter is supplied with all International orders.
Q. Do they use a lot of electricity?
A. If you were to run it 24 hours a day it would have a daily cost of around €0.005 cents, and an annual cost of around €1.83. So, no would be the answer :)
Q. Are they gift wrapped?
A. All orders come gift boxed.
